Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate all mechanical and electrical installation works at the active construction site.
- Ensure all technical M&E installations strictly follow design specifications and current industry safety regulations.
- Monitor daily progress and workmanship quality to keep the project strictly within the planned budget.
- Review technical drawings and project specifications to resolve conflicts before construction activities begin on site.
- Create and update accurate structural penetration drawings for approval by relevant consultants and project leads.
- Liaise regularly with engineers and external consultants to finalize M&E coordination drawings for site teams.
- Attend all necessary site meetings to discuss technical issues and report on project installation progress.
- Handle specific building systems including ACMV, fire protection, and sanitary plumbing throughout the project cycle.
Job Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related technical construction field.
- Strong proficiency in using AutoCAD for creating and reviewing detailed M&E coordination drawings.
- Solid understanding of local building codes, safety standards, and standard M&E installation practices.
- Proven experience working on-site to resolve technical engineering problems and monitor contractor performance.
- Ability to communicate complex technical requirements clearly to both engineers and on-site subcontractors.
- Detailed knowledge of mechanical systems like ACMV, electrical layouts, and sanitary service requirements.
