Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage a team of technicians to oversee daily building operations and facility maintenance activities.
- Supervise contractors and subcontractors to ensure all work meets defined quality and safety standards.
- Propose and implement strategic improvement, repair, and upgrading works for building and M&E systems.
- Coordinate all technical inspections, testing, commissioning, and acceptance activities with consultants and external authorities.
- Plan and execute comprehensive cyclical and preventive maintenance programs for all facility infrastructure components.
- Develop and maintain operational SOPs while providing regular training to staff on safety procedures.
- Oversee the preparation of operational and capital expenditure budgets for the facility management department.
- Manage the timely renewal of all building licenses, permits, and professional service maintenance contracts.
Job Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering.
- Proven experience in managing M&E operations and maintenance in a large facility setting.
- Strong knowledge of local building codes, safety standards, and statutory regulatory requirements.
- Experience in developing and managing operational budgets and capital expenditure plans.
- Ability to manage external contractors and maintain compliance with ISO quality procedures.
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of supervising technical teams and personnel.
