Ready to take on a new ACMV Quantity Surveyor challenge? We are looking for an analytical professional to manage costs and tenders for an established construction firm. You will play a vital part in the financial success of our ongoing air-conditioning and mechanical ventilation projects.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate material take-offs and cost estimates during the competitive project tender phase.
- Manage the end-to-end tender process from initial documentation through to the final contract award.
- Submit regular monthly progress claims to clients while ensuring all project milestones are properly met.
- Review and verify monthly payment applications submitted by our external project subcontractors for accuracy.
- Assess and administer contract variations for both main contracts and specific subcontracting work packages.
- Coordinate closely with internal teams to ensure all measurements and site progress reports are correct.
- Maintain detailed documentation to support financial claims and manage project budgets throughout the cycle.
Job Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Building Services, or a related construction field.
- Proven experience working with ACMV systems in residential or commercial construction environments.
- Strong technical ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and project specification documents.
- Expertise in managing tender submissions and handling detailed variation claim procedures.
- Proficiency in construction industry software for cost estimation and measurement tracking.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple contract administration tasks simultaneously.
