Job Description
We need an experienced Construction Manager to start soon. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader working with a well-established construction firm. You will oversee diverse projects and ensure high standards of site safety and efficiency. Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage daily onsite construction activities and allocate workforce resources to meet strict project timelines.
- Liaise with consultants to resolve technical issues regarding site drawings, schedules, and as-built conditions.
- Coordinate subcontractors and suppliers to ensure smooth progress of all construction works on site.
- Oversee site housekeeping standards by assigning tasks to supervisors and teams for improved cleanliness.
- Implement and monitor Environmental, Health, and Safety action plans to maintain strict workplace compliance.
- Manage the scheduling and operation of site plants, including pumps and air compressors, to maximize productivity.
- Provide accurate progress information to quantity surveyors to assist in the evaluation of subcontractor claims.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience managing large-scale construction sites.
- Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems and site plant equipment.
- Demonstrated ability in project management, scheduling, and reading complex construction drawings.
- Active commitment to Environmental, Health, and Safety protocols.
- Professional certification such as PMP or a construction superintendent qualification.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to lead multidisciplinary site teams.
